Strengthening and expansion of capacities of the Central American Digital Trade Platform (PDCC 2.0) for trade facilitation
The Central American Digital Platform for Commerce (PDCC) is a computerized platform with regional interoperability that integrates information and processes for customs, immigration, animal and plant health management, and foreign trade single windows for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. This platform, which was officially launched by the Council of Integration Ministers (COMIECO) in December 2022, promotes the coordination of public sector institutions and the private sector and improves export, import and transit facilitation and expediting procedures. of goods and people at an intra and extra-regional level. This Technical Cooperation supports the strengthening and expansion of the capacities of the PDCC, which as a project was implemented from 2018 to 2022
