Improving Race and Ethnicity Data Instruments for Policy Analysis and Formul.

The KCP"s specific objective is to improve data collection on race in the region through the following actions: (i) analysis of current approaches and the identification of best practices for incorporating and analyzing race data in socioeconomic instruments such as household surveys and national censuses; (ii) financing for specific initiatives to improve the quality of data collection in select countries in the region; (iii) evaluating the effectiveness and impact of these supported proposals; (iv) disseminating results of the process through a publication and high-level workshop with important stakeholders to strengthen the importance of collecting race and ethnic data.
