The overall objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the capacities of strategic institutions for the deployment of technical assistance and technological extension services for MSMEs in Honduras, with a focus on territorial, gender, decarbonization, and climate resilience aspects. This will also contribute to the preparation of the program to support the technological modernization and digitalization of MSMEs (HO-L1249) in the country. This will be achieved through four specific objectives: (i) expand knowledge about the demands and needs for support in the modernization and digital transformation of Honduran MSMEs, including climate technologies; (ii) design a portfolio of support instruments for the technological modernization of MSMEs adapted to the local context; (iii) support the exchange of regional experiences and best practices in the implementation of management improvement and technological modernization instruments for MSMEs; and (iv) increase the visibility of the project's results and lessons learned to ensure that they become key inputs in the country's national and subnational political and strategic agenda.
