Support for the Constitutional Reforms
The Technical Cooperation (TC) will support the National Constituent Assembly in building consensus during the sessions to be held on November 2007, during which the proposals of constitutional reforms relating to the territorial reorganization, new political-administrative division, fiscal decentralization, political representation, and civil society participation will be discussed. The TC has five components: (i) Reviewing of constitutional reform and drafting of new ones relating to democratic reform of the State; (ii) Consensus building and discussion of contents; (iii) Reviewing and drafting of constitutional texts; (iv) Strengthening the communication strategy; (v) Facilitating exchanges with international leaders.
