Ecotourism as a Development Alternative
3.1 The project's general objective is to improve the life quality of poor and vulnerable populations in the regions of Araracuara, Ensenada de Utría, la Macarena y Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, through the establishment of productive activities based on eco-tourism. Its specific objective is to implement a supply and demand generation plan around etno and eco tourism services in the selected areas, articulating the results of such process to the policies of illegal crops substitution, alternative development and violence appeasement.
