Competitiveness of the Productive Chain of the Rattan Sector

Promote the coordination between producers and artisans of the rattan industry in the highlands of Santa Catarina State. Training will be offered to extension agents to improve the quality of the raw material (including drying methods and classification) as well as development of courses for the Escola de Artesanato do Vime that will result in products with higher value added. Technical assistance will be offered in the marketing of the new products.
