WHAT WE DO
The Office of the Secretary is responsible for organizing the Annual Meeting of the Boards of Governors, where the IDB Group’s roadmap is defined.
It is also in charge of providing secretariat services for the Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), as well as the Donors Committee of the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF).
Its services are also available for meetings called by the IDB Group, the standing committees, and all internal committees formed by the President.
The Office of the Secretary also provides executive and logistical support for the IDB Group’s meetings, as well as linguistic, documentation, event production, and protocol services. It is also responsible for implementation of the Access to Information Policy.
The Office of the Secretary is made up of seven sections: Services to the Boards, Committees, and Management; Access to Information; Events Production and Management; Interpretation; Translation and Documentation; Information Systems and Digital Innovation; and Protocol.
