Preparation Support to Punta del Tigre Combined Cycle Power Generation Project

The TC will support the preparation of the loan, financing the studies that have been identified. The studies will have the following objectives: (i) analyze environmental issues, including modeling of air and water, and track the process of preparing the Environmental Impact Assessment Study and obtaining the environmental permit, (ii) review the project's economic analysis and prepare a financial analysis of the executing unit, (iii) conduct an analysis of the regulatory and tariff structure in Uruguay and its impact on the project, (iv) review the technical aspects of investments, including schedules and costs, and (v) analysis of the all the procurment aspects of the project.
