Development of Land Use Plans
The specific objective of the present technical cooperation is to support the IMM's effort to formulate Special Plans for two of the most relevant city districts, Carrasco/Punta Gorda and Prado. The overall purpose of these Land Use/Development Plans is to enable the municipality to better control growth and to manage built-up areas and public spaces, organize urban services and preserve areas of historical interest, in order to generally upgrade the districts.
