SI Trust Fund: Support for Operations, Monitoring and Assessment in Fifth Year
The general objective of this technical cooperation is to support improved technical quality and execution of social inclusion trust fund projects and support the wider integration of social inclusion in Bank operations and policies. The specific objectives are: (i) to provide technical support to social inclusion trust fund proposals and projects in execution and input for Fund reports as needed; (ii) promote the Fund within the Bank, especially in the Country Offices, and enhance the collaboration of the Fund with the Regional Operations Departments; (iii) to raise awareness of the utility of products and lessons learned from TCs financed by the Fund among regional governments and stakeholders, in order to influence policy processes; (iv) to fine-tune and implement guidelines for monitoring and assessing Fund operations; (iv) to provide technical input to Country Coordinators on issues related to social exclusion and inequality during the preparation of Country Papers and Poverty Assessments as requested by Fund donors; and (v) to collaborate with the Technical Advisor in creating synergies and coordination between SITF, ENLACE, the Gender Mainstreaming Fund (GMF) and other funds as needed.
