Training Program- Management in Development with Identity UII

General objective: The objective of this technical cooperation is to expand access of the indigenous peoples to higher education and graduate studies at the Intercultural Indigenous University (IIU) in the area of managing development with identity. In turn, the project will help strengthen the academic offering of the IIU based on academic, pedagogic, and cultural standards, and answering to the social expectations of the indigenous peoples of the region. Specific objectives: · Develop and strengthen a consensus-based conceptual framework on development with indigenous identity. · Draw out the lessons of experiences of managing development with identity so as to strengthen the management of the indigenous organizations of the region. · Evaluate the state-of-the-art and existing capacities of the Network of Associated Centers of the IIU, and design a strengthening and consolidation program. · Develop a graduate program that helps strengthen the capacities of the indigenous leaders in Managing Development with Identity.
