The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to provide technical assistance to the Government of Barbados (GoB) agencies involved in the power sector by improving the country's policy and regulatory framework. The specific objectives are to: (i) increase private sector involvement in Renewable Energy (RE) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects; and (ii) improve the power sector's policy and regulatory framework, to cope with the expected changes during the energy transition towards a carbon-free economy.
