Inter-American Development Bank President Enrique V. Iglesias will offer a press conference at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, to present the Bank's Annual Report 2001, at IDB headquarters in Washington, D.C., at 1300 New York Ave. N.W.
The event will be held in the East Breakout Room on the 9th floor and will be followed by a luncheon for the press.
The report details the activities of the IDB during 2001 and provides an overview of economic conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean. Both the report and the press conference are subject to a news embargo until 1300GMT Monday, March 11, when the Annual Meeting of the Bank's Board of Governors opens in Fortaleza, Brazil.
