The role of fiscal management on reducing informality in LAC
The general objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to improve fiscal policy and fiscal management practices to increase formality in LAC countries. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) measuring the impact of fiscal policies and fiscal management practices on labor and firm informality; (ii) supporting the development and reform of fiscal policies and management systems to foster firm and employment formalization; and (iii) assisting countries in the implementation and evaluation of fiscal policies and management systems to reduce informality.
