Support for the implementation of rural electrification programmes in Bolivia
This TC aims to support the GoB in the implementation of rural electrification programmes located in departments located in the Amazon region, including both those in the execution stage and those under preparation. The TC will contribute to: (i) the design of rural electrification sub-projects in the departments located in the Amazon; (ii) the use of efficient technologies promoting cost-effectiveness in investments; (iii) the diversification of traditional electricity supply alternatives by promoting the use of renewable energies; (iv) the promotion of productive activities with electricity in rural areas; and (v) support for the development of institutional capacities in the future executing units.
