Support for regional climate action

The effects of climate change continue to be the greatest inhibiting factor to the sustainable development of the Caribbean. To mitigate the risks of climate change, the Paris Agreement calls for increasingly ambitious climate action. Countries in the region have requested support in articulating the ambitious policy reforms, and for assistance in coordinating a focused regional approach to tackling this challenge. The objective of the operation is to support a program of activities designed to enhance climate action across the Caribbean region.
