Support to Municipal Solid Waste Mgmt.
The objective of this operation is to assist small and medium sized municipalities to develop action plans and project financing proposals to undertake activities for integrated solid waste management. Specifically, this operation will support municipalities in the oriental region (departments of La Union y San Miguel) as well as some municipalities in the occidental region in the area of influence of the cities of Santa Ana and Sonsonate. This operation will allow these municipalities to get ready and benefit from activities and resources of the Program for Decontamination of Critical Areas (ES-0074).
