Trade Negotiations Strengthening
The general objective of this operation is to help build capacity to formulate and implement the country's foreign trade policy through the transfer of technical expertise (training and technical advisory assistance) and technical strengthening of the SIECE. The specific objectives of the program are: (i) to support training for present technical personnel and prepare new personnel in order to increase SIECE's capacity to analyze, shape, administer, and evaluate foreign trade policy instruments; and (ii) strengthen the mechanisms of internal coordination and dissemination of information in order to improve trade policy formulation and efficiency.
