Trust Fund Appointee Program

Throughout 2008 SECCI will be bringing top professionals corresponding to the four pillars of SECCI, whom will be integrated into the various INE divisions, and who will be involved with SECCI activities. The selected Professional is expected to contribute to the operational aspects of the carbon finance activities of SECCI with a particular emphasis in Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) under the UNFCCC definition, in the context of the Kyoto Protocol and the voluntary markets where LULUCF activities are considered given that they affect changes in carbon stocks between the carbon pools of the terrestrial ecosystem and between the terrestrial ecosystem and the atmosphere. The person will bring technical expertise in the area of forestry, land change uses to the mitigation to climate change component of SECCI.
