Identification of Institutional Needs to Enhance Border Security
3.1 The main objective of the project is to define a strategy that allows the countries of the Caribbean Region to reduce to a minimum, the security problems at their borders, providing a secure environment for the development of commercial and tourist activities. 3.2 The specific objectives of the program are: i) to identify the weaknesses and needs for border security in the Caribbean countries; and ii) to define national and regional strategies to resolve the identified problems and weaknesses.
