Submerged Timber Extraction Pilot Project

This Technical Cooperation ("TC") will support the implementation of a pilot project in Lake Gatun in preparation of the full-scale roll-out of the submerged timber extraction and processing plan in Lake Gatun and Lake Bayano. The pilot project will address several unique aspects of tropical submerged timber extraction planning, extraction, as well as milling and drying for which traditional technology has not been adapted previously.
