State of Michoacan: Promotion of Public-Private Partnerships (PIAPPEM)

The general objective is to help the Mexican State of Michoacan become more competitive, by promoting the expansion and improvement of public services and infrastructure through the use of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). The purpose of the program is to strengthen its legal and institutional capacity, so that it can apply harmonized PPP models, thereby increasing private participation in the expansion and operation of infrastructure and public services at the local level. The project is part of the Program to Promote Public Private Partnerships in Mexican States (PIAPPEM) ATN/MT-10287-ME.
