Private Sector Energy Development Program
FINANCING WILL BE PROVIDED FOR: (I) A CONTRIBUTION TO A GOVERNMENT FUND FOR LOANS TO PRIVATE SECTOR DEVELOPERS THAT ARE PARTICIPATING IN TWO ENERGY PROJECTS (LOW SPEED DIESEL AND GAS TURBINES); (II) TRANSMISSION FACILITIES; (III) TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO JPS AND THE FUND. THE WORLD BANK WILL CONTRIBUTE THE SAME AMOUNT AS THE IDB TO "I" AND FINANCE ANOTHER GAS TURBINE FOR JPS CO.
