Renewable Energy Resource Evaluation in Bay Islands

The overall objective is this TC is to support the Government of Honduras and local authorities of the Bay Islands to determine the renewable energy potential specifically wind and solar resource in Utila, Guanaja and Roatán and evaluate the feasibility of using these sources to supply energy now dominated by fossil fuels. The assessment will be used to prepare a strategy and investment plan in order to reduce gradually the use of fossil fuels in the Bay Islands.
