Guyana-Jamaica Education Sector Exchange - Literacy and Teacher Training
·Strengthen regional collaboration between the Ministries of Education in the Caribbean region; ·Allow the Ministry of Education of Guyana to learn about the various literacy initiatives and teacher training initiatives currently undertaken by their Jamaican counterparts, sharing of lessons learnt and adopting the best practices for successful implementation in Guyana; ·Eventually develop and sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries with the intent to provide support to each other in the area of literacy, teacher training and numeracy
