Consolidation of Community Financial System to Spur Local Economies
The project will seek address the demand for credit posed by low-income micro entrepreneurs of rural communities in the Department of Totonicapan and neighboring areas. It will provide CDRO with on-lending funds and technical cooperation. This will allow CDRO to extend its loan portfolio and improve is rural credit services of its system of communal credit. The project will facilitate the access of micro entrepreneurs from rural communities to credit services and allow them to expand their activities and improve their socioeconomic situation.
