Program for Prevention and Response to Violence and Criminality in Ecuador (PREVIC)

The general development objective of this operation is to contribute to preventing crimes associated with Organized Crime Groups (OCGs) and to reduce their impunity in prioritized territories. The Specific Development Objectives are: (i) to increase the coverage of Organized Crime prevention programs and attention to vulnerable populations; (ii) to increase the effectiveness of criminal investigation; and (iii) to increase the capacities of personnel and the use of information for security management and governance.
